Treat Spirit (Fade Out)

It’s kinda hard to explain the delirium that comes when your father is in hospital and anxiety prevents sleep. Still, many of you know that amazing Radiohead song, Street Spirit (Fade Out), easily their best track (and yes, I’ve heard Paranoid Android). Well the video is a work of art, featuring a compilation of moody black and white slow motion moments, set at different speeds. It’s meant to convey serious things, like the inevitable darkness and beauty of the passing of time, and our loneliness in life.

Which is why setting the track against slow motion doggo’s is entirely appropriate.

The longing for treats. Forever catching the ball for hooman, only for hooman to throw it away again. Endless walks, only to wind up right where they started. The life of doggo’s and floofs.

Please see the masterpiece below, mine - not Radiohead’s.
